The County Hall was built in 1832, possible that the sundial was created at some time. It was renewed in 1960 and in 1983. The dial plate is a 2 m long semicircularstrip witch extracted from the daub. It is not equiangular. The shadow-maker pointing to the North Pole. In the centre visible a bronze Sun face, Saturn on the left, and Moon on the right as decoration.
This sundial can be visited on working days from 8:00am-6:00pm. The entrance is free by coming from the back gate of the County Hall (Semmelweis str. 6.)
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
