This tree can be found slightly south of the walking path at the East River Flats at the University of Minnesota.

This tree was formed when nine trunks fused into one many years ago. There is an area where a person can stand in between the trunks. Of note, a piece of cable emerges from the base.
(I hope I've calculated the height correctly. I'm sending the "Minnesota's Big Tree Registry Application Form" into the DNR. If they send someone out to calculate a different height, I'll edit the posting.)
