Otto von Greyerz is an important poet, whose poems were not written in the so-called high-German, but in the German Swiss dialect. He lived from 1863 - 1940.
The location of this memorial is very close to the new Paul-Klee-Zentrum, a center dedicated to the famous painter Paul Klee.
