This mark is situated at the front of the local hospital (Ysbyty Bron -Y- Garth), about halfway between Penrhyndeudraeth and Minffordd.
The mark is not shown in the OS database but is shown on old maps of the area as BM 86.7.
? The mark could be a 1GL bolt described in the area as:
' Bolt in front of Ffestiniog Union Poor-house ; 1.98 ft. above surface ', at 86.6970 ft above the Liverpool datum. Which would make it mark No. 400 on the Warrington to Pembroke Docks levelling line.
However as I could not get close to the mark due to lack of pavement and heavy traffic I was unable to confirm the presence of a bolt ?
