[EN] Dedicated to Saint Genevieve and Saint Honore, the Verneuil church was fomerly the seat of a benedictine priory.

The joints between the roofing, the differences between the buttresses and between the openings demonstrate that this monument has undergone multiple transformations. The largest part [the nave and the entry porch], in pure flamboyant gothic, was constructed around 1500, and the bell tower around 1550.

But from 1100, there already existed a romanesque church of which remains today, more or les remodelled, the pillers and "archatures" of the choir. The straight windows of the gothic style, which come before the large openings of the nave, bear witness to the first expansion.

The front door, under the porch, constructed in the beginning of the 17th century, is characteristic of the work of Salomon de Brosse.
