[FR] La Mer de Sable est un parc à thème, situé à Ermenonville dans l'Oise dont le thème principal est l'aventure. Il est plutôt destiné aux enfants de moins de 10 ans.
En 1963, Jean Richard inaugure le premier parc d'attractions à thème français, profitant d'une curiosité géologique, une grande étendue sabloneuse, qui lui permet de créer à quelques pas de Paris des décors du Far West américain.
Le parc est installé dans un désert de sable au cœur de la forêt d'Ermenonville.
[EN] Located at an amazing geological site, on a perfectly natural expanse of sand, the attraction park has been inaugurated in 1963 by Jean Richard and Maurice Chevalier.
From this time, la « Mer de Sable » became a family park where you can have a fun day in a place mostly dedicated to westerns, Indians and desert.
Big shows give the rhythm of the day, Western in the Ranch, train attack with Indians, horses show… But it offers a lot of other attractions such as the Colorado Train, the Chikapas Jungle, Cheyenne River, pirate’s boat. A day of thrills just 45 minutes from Paris.
