Located on Hwy 405 (River Road) in Bayou Goula, LA. I have posted the a pic of the Highway MArker sign also. Nicely situated under a few large oak trees. White picket fenced in grounds. The fence appears to be opened all the time. The keys are located in a mailbox to the left of door. I could not get a good pic of insides. 4 small wooden chairs stacked in left corner. Small "alter" in front with crucifix. Very ornate, but not "gawdy". Has 2 candle racks on each side wall for lighting. Large candles on left, small on right. A notebook also for signing and dating.(sorry my flash was not working to load pics). Grounds very well maintanied and landscaped. Has a bell, a small St. Mary statue, and a small hand painted portrait (pottery type) I guess for meditating while walking. Mass held once a year on Aug. 15th.
