Located at the corner of Calle del Espartero and Calle Embudo, this Ciber Cafe was very popular with some of our group on a recent Earthwatch expedition to Spain. One professor had a new textbook that he was writing and needed to get pages off to the editor. Another professor needed to submit a paper to a scientific journal. The rest of us just checked email once a week!
You had to "buy" at least 30 minutes of time for 1 Euro. After that the owner charged by the minute. There were two connections available and two computers. When I checked my email after being gone a week....there were over 100! Yipes. So I sent a quick message to my kids and a few friends, then off to relax with a Naranja Fanta! (Orange Fanta soda pop)
