You'll pay $4 for admission to the Barton Fairgrounds for a day of fair food and horse-pulling (movie) (free if you wait until later), then settle back on the hood of your car for a nice fireworks display directly over your head (movie).

People park on the shoulder of adjacent I-91 for just as nice a view, and not having to deal with the traffic getting out (which is actually rather poorly managed). I don't know how much effort the State Police and Sheriff put into discouraging the practice.

There's also a Mural on the grounds.

Date of the Fireworks Display: 07/03/2008

Starting Time of the Fireworks Display: 9:30 PM

Who is putting on the Fireworks Display: Town of Barton
