In the lobby of the Ford Orientation Center at Mount Vernon, these 5 brightly colored stained glass panels will grab your attention immediately. The panels each depict scenes from Washington's life.

The panels were created in the 1950's and 1960's in the Karl J. Mueller Studio. They were purchased for the orientation center in 1997 from the estate of the late Brigadier General Woodrow A. Abbot.
