This is a popular spot for viewing, having lunch and for short wave radio enthusiasts. Highfield Road crosses the Paula Radcliffe Way (Clapham bypass) and is a high point in Bedfordshire. The view looks north towards Sharnbrook and south towards Bedford.

There is parking in various points along the road and further along is Judges Spinney, a public woodland area.
