The Cheney Fire Station was built to service the adjacent Cheney Silk Mills and nearby neighborhood in Manchester, CT. The museum was not open on my visit. It is only open on Saturdays. See web pages for opening times and prices. I'm not sure when the firehouse was decommissioned. The Connecticut Firemen's Historical Society opened the museum here in 1979.

Through the windows, I saw horse drawn fire wagons and a few displays of equipment. Pictures were too dark to be used here.
