On April 28th, 1938 the town of Enfield, MA was disincorporated to make way for the creation of the Quabbin Reservoir. From this lookout you can see the southern end of the Prescott peninsula and the water that now covers the former town of Enfield.

There is plenty of parking along with an informational sign showing the area as it looked before the reservoir creation.
