This Angel of Hope was installed in order to increase awareness of the grieving process as it relates to the loss of a child and the loss of fertility. The group hosts an annual vigil every December 6th.

This statue was dedicated on October 7, 2006 and was the 69th angel memorial to be placed in the United States.

The local Angels of Hope group is in the midst of a donation brick campaign to help raise funds for additional landscaping.
