A great place to sample the locally made beer is at The Brewery on Norfolk Island. They can claim "the purest rain water in the South Pacific is used in our beers".

The Brewery can be found opposite the airport on Norfolk Island. A [picturesque little building, it home to the famous brews of Blighs Revenge, Mutineer and Bee Sting.

The Bee Sting 3.9% is a pale blonde ale. This beer is brewed using unrefined Norfolk Island honey. Saaz hops from New Zealand. This beer won the GOLD medal for its class at the 2000 New Zealand International Hop Marketing Board Beer Awards! Flavour is fruit, tangerine.

Mutineer 5% is brewed using the finest possible malted barley from Morey Firth. A blend of pale ale and crystal malts and the brewer's personal choice of hop from around the world.

Blighs Revenge 6.7% is a dark ale, a blend of ale, crystal and chocolate malts and selected hops.

They also provide Brewery lunches, sandwiches, snacks, Burgers, fish and steak with salad and chips. Prices are reasonably cheap. Brewery tours are Thursday at 2pm.
