At the base of the church tower, to right of main door, is a plaque explaining.

"The clock in the tower of this church was reinstated and the former bell restored by the parishioners and friends of Borgue to commemorate the millennium. Dedicated by the Rev. Austin Erskine on 4th April 1999."
