Society of Friends (Quakers) Meeting House is sited in quiet corner of Cotherstone and can only be approached along a footpath across a field. The meeting house was original built by the Quakers in 1796 and the porch added c.1837. The building is made of squared rubble and ashlar dressings. It has a stone-flagged roof and stone chimney stack. As is traditional for Quaker meeting houses the interior is very plain. There is a wall surrounding the building and burial ground alongside.
