This community festival held each year in the third week of July is named after James "Bohemia" Johnson and the mining region that is named after him.

In 1863 Gold was discovered in the Bohemia Mountains, just east of town. Bohemia Mining Days honors the mining history of the area.

The event features a prospectors' breakfast, miners' parade, food booths, gold panning, a pow wow, carnival, kiddie parade, street dance, and more. Come to Bohemia Mining Days and experience four days of great family fun, food, and entertainment of all kinds.
