Meaning "Public Spring of Fuencaliente Continental Waters", this is to me what a true oasis must be like! In the middle of the dry and hot Orce region of Spain, suddenly is this cool and refreshing spring fed swimming pool! The water is about 60 degrees at best, but when the air temperature is in the 90's this can feel quite refreshing! The bottom of the pool is gravel and the water is crystal clear. Fish have entered the area, mostly carp it seems, and it is a pleasure to swim in and amongst them.
There is no entry fee, but a wonderful bar typical of Spainish beaches where one can buy a Sangria, coke, beer or ice cream!
