Build in 1850 Active; focal plane 14 m (46 ft); continuous light, showing white for 7.5 s, red for 2.5 s. 12 m (40 ft) granite tower with lantern and gallery. The northeast face of the lighthouse (facing the entrance channel) is painted white, and vertical black and white panels are mounted at the base to make a more conspicuous daymark.
