Einstein Crater, found on the Geologic Map of the East Side of the Moon is named after the famed theoretical physicist and Noble Laureate Albert Einstein. In the adjacent areas on the moons surface there are three other "satellite" features named after Einstein designated as Einstein A, Einstein R and Einstein S.

This gargoyle bust of Einstein created by sculptor Wayne Chabre is above the east entrance to Willamette Hall.
