The bad news: in 1984, the eastern section collapsed under the weight of an engine, prompting the abandonment of the Central Vermont RR line between St. Albans and Richford (and the nickname).

The good news: in 2002, the collapsed section was replaced, completing the Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail, an all-season recreation path running the entire 26.4 miles from St. Albans to Richford.
Bridge Type: Truss

Bridge Usage: Pedestrian
