Although the harbour is too small for the larger visiting cruise vessels, there is good anchorage in the bay. A new pontoon is used for tenders. Smaller cruise liners can tie alongside the outer wall. The island is often visited as part of a Norway/Scotland/Ireland cruise. Typically, the ship only stays for a day or two.
