The Fort Lawton lynching of an Italian POW became National News, due to fear that the death of the POW would mean mistreatment of U.S. POW in Europe and Asia. This is the grave of Olivotto, buried in the fort's cemetery.

The Fort Lawton lynching of an Italian POW became National News, due to fear that the death of the POW would mean mistreatment of U.S. POW in Europe and Asia. This is the gravestone of Olivotto, made by the other Italian POW's held at Fort Lawton. He is buried in the fort's cemetery.
