This is a TV Land statue that marks Elvis' "Aloha from Hawaii Concert" at the Blaisdell Center in Honolulu. It was also the location of the World's First Satellite TV Concert. It was dedicated in 2007. I visited on a weekday and I was the only person there. I don't think this statue is very well known.
There are 6 TV Land Landmark statues in the US: Bob Newhart in Chicago, Mary Tyler Moore in Minneapolis, Ralph Kramden in NY, Bewitched in Salem Mass, Andy Griffith in Raleigh, NC and the Elvis statue.

From the TV Land website: Music legend. Pop icon. The King of rock ‘n’ roll. Elvis Presley electrified the world and endeared himself to generations of fans with his talent, charisma, good looks, humor and genuine kindness. Now TV Land and the city of Honolulu, Hawaii will honor Elvis during the 30th anniversary year of his passing with a life-sized bronze sculpture. This TV Land Landmark will commemorate the King’s 1973 "Aloha from Hawaii concert". Created with the permission and involvement of Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., the sculpture will grace The Neal S. Blaisdell Center, formerly The Honolulu International Center, site of the historic "Aloha from Hawaii" event.

Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935 to Vernon and Gladys Presley in a two-room house in Tupelo, Mississippi.

"Aloha from Hawaii," which initially aired on NBC in April of 1973, was the first concert event ever to be beamed around the world by satellite.

Carried live in some countries and by tape delay in others, "Aloha from Hawaii" was seen in over 40 countries by 1.5 billion people, a worldwide ratings smash. In America, 51% of the TV viewing households tuned in to watch Elvis perform.

The "Aloha from Hawaii" soundtrack album went to Number One on the Billboard album chart and in America alone sales have earned the album a 5x Platinum award.

Elvis Presley passed away at his Memphis home, Graceland, on August 16, 1977.
