The chapel was moved to this spot in June 1900. The foundation bears the year on the left hand side of the front entrance. The pastor, Bob Hagaman, has been pastor there since 1970. The congregation has 10 to 12 members.

The building was originally a school, and after WW I, the Episcopal church set up missionaries to preach religion to "country people". In 1917 the Bishop of the Diocese of Camden sent a reverend on horseback there to preach, and in 1925 when the building was abandoned the diocese bought it from the Washington Township School Board for $100 and a sign went up in front saying "St. Andrews Chapel".

The original location was up the road a bit, not far from where it stands today. The listed coordinates for the original location of the waymark are a close approximation.
