This beach is the northern most end of the larger beach known as Stockton Beach. This beach is frequented by all sorts of people. You can dig for pippies whilst you are here, but don't get caught taking them away with you. This beach is also a 'dog off-leash area' (see WM3YJE)
Birubi Beach is located at Anna Bay and is the northern most section of the 'Golden Bight' - a huge expanse of beach which extends from Stockton (near Newcastle) to Port Stephens.
The beach itself is accessed at the end of James Patterson Street, Anna Bay and is one of the gateways for 4wd vehicles to the Stockton Beach dunes.
