The Regent Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb was built in 1925, and is one of the most beautiful examples of Art Deco in Zagreb. Originally hotel was built to service passengers arriving on the Orient Express. Some of the world famous persons that stayed in the hotel were Josephine Baker, Charles Lindbergh, Orson Wells, Liv Ullman, Louis Armstrong and Woody Allen.
