The house opened on October 24, 1994 and was founded by the sales of Happy Meals by McDonalds. The house is the 162nd in the world. Since it's opening the house has helped 1,400 children. There's about 400 volunteers at the house. In 2000 there's been plans to make an extention to the house, a wing with 15 extra rooms.
