These remains of a burial chamber are on the lower slopes of Piles Hill. The chamber is made up of 4 stones, there's no top stone.

Purpose:
A burial-chamber of the Bronze age. A square or rectangular pit paved & lined with selected granite slabs & covered by a coverstone or stones. Within, usually in an urn or crude pottery, were placed the ashes of the dead.
