Dragutin Domjanic is Croatian poet that wrote on kajkavian dialect, one of the three main dialects of the Croatian language.
His poems were about spiritual love, intimacy of aristocrats' homes, cavaliers of past times. He expressed fears about crudeness of modern time, affection for the old world that disappears, and distrust to new ideas. His most famous work is book of poetry on kajkavian dialect called "Kipci i popevke". Most famous single poems are "Fala" and "Popevke sam slagal".
He finished law school and worked as judge in Zagreb. He was also a member of Jugoslav Academy of Science and Arts and president of Matice hrvatske.
