The memorial consists of a square base with a tall slightly tapered column with a winged female statue at the top. The base and column is of a highly polished dark gray stone, while the statue is of white marble. The base is raised above the local ground level and is reached by 7 steps. The rear, both left and right are 2 memorial walls. The memorial divided the road within the park.
The first stone for this memorial was laid on 11 Nov 1922. Since then the memorial has grown to what it is today. Please visit the website to obtain much more information regarding this memorial.
