Doach plantation is owned by the Forestry Commission and has two walks which both lead to this fine viewpoint, with seating and interpretive board. The view is south over Auchencairn Bay.

Either walk will bring you to the turn off for the viewpoint. See gallery for waypost. Neither is at all strenuous, although you do rise to about 125 meter from 40 meter.

Free parking at N 054 053.995 W 003 052.908. Footwear with a grip would be ideal. The paths are a mixture of forest track and dry earth forest floor.
