The vehicle is on display in front of the 12 (Vancouver) Service Battalion Armory. The GMC M135 CDN was in use from 1651 to 1983. This model is in the Truck Cargo configuration. This was the main use but it had other configurations, as troop carriers for example.

Although on Armory grounds, the vehicle is clearly visible from the sidewalk.
