"Since 1948 the Parents' Association has provided scholarships, awards and honors to students, faculty, administrators and staff, as well as finacial support for services that aid students in their academic endevors.
As a complement to the Student Services Building, the Parents' Association illustrates its support through the engraved bricks at the UT Family Courtyard area on the south plaza. Gifts made to the Student Services Endownment campaign are represented by these bricks, which are symbols of support, recognition and pride."
