Tombeelmolen - Windmills on Waymarking.com

De Tombeelmolen dankt zijn naam aan de tombeel (molendam of hoogte) waarop hij is gebouwd. De molen te Outrijve is niet alleen het enige bewaarde exemplaar in de Scheldevallei. Als jongste bakstenen molen van Vlaanderen maakt hij ook de brug tussen de eeuwenlange houten molentraditie en het gebruik van ‘moderne’ materialen zoals ijzer.
