This brick Pre Civil War Spring House is located in a community park in Bolivar, West Virginia. It evidently provided water to both the North and South during one of the many battles to occur in these two towns -- Bolivar and Harper's Ferry -- during the Civil War. According to local legend, the North came here to get water during the day and the South at night.
