From the Jennings State Forest website: "Jennings State Forest can be found in the northern section of Clay County, which is located in northeastern Florida. The forest is approximately 10 miles southwest of Jacksonville, and 5 miles southwest of Orange Park. The State Forest has 5 entrances along the perimeter of the forest."

The offroad trail we've featured is located in the western section of the Forest off Long Branch Road. After Long Branch Road turns from a paved road into a dirt road, it will eventually take you to a "traffic circle" so to speak. At this point, Long Branch Road is gated and you can no longer continue. However, you can turn onto the road that runs perpendicular to it. This road consists of soft sugar sand that we dared not enter with our 2WD vehicle. We have been down the road with a 4WD vehicle in the past and had a great time searching for geocaches down it.
