This Aqueduct can be found near Princetown,Devon, England
This water channel is several hundred years old. Its purpose was to supply water to some of the old manor houses and farms that are scattered on the SW edge of the moor. The leat take off is on the Walkham River just under the foot of Great Mis Tor passing through Merrivale then beside Windy Post Cross and around Pew Tor and ends in a field just past Sortridge Manor, Horrabridge.
Written on the Aqueduct is John Wills 1953-1987.
