Duffy's Tavern is situated at the point of this flatiron building. Other commercial businesses occupy the building too.

If you look at a map of Utica, you will see the intersection of three streets. Mill St. runs along the East side of the building. An alley behind Clark St. is located on the western side of the building. Mill St and the Alley meet Canal St. to form the point.
Across Canal Street is the remains of the I&M Canal.
