This R.N.L.I. station is situated in the heart of the historic port of Fowey. Lifeboats have been based in the harbour since 1922. The coordinates given are for the lifeboat house & gift shop. From here you will see the Trent class boat "Maurice & Joyce Hardy" (14-18) moored on a nearby pontoon. The pontoon is open to the public if you wish to get a closer look.
The Fowey station also operates a "D" class inshore boat. This is trailer stowed in the boathouse & launched using the small crane opposite.
