Although the town of Chloride has never ceased to be populated, by 1944 it was all but abandoned and it is officially considered to be a ghost town
(visit link) website. This old mining ghost town sports a vintage gas station, no longer in use, and is considered one of the ghost town buildings from the past. The gas station is also the subject of a virtual cache (GCA16A), but our photo doesn't give away the answer.
