Sydney Simmons Memorial, Okehampton - Dartmoor Granite on Waymarking.com

This park was laid out by local resident Sydney Simmons (whose statue stands outside the museum) and donated to the town in 1906. It runs alongside the East Okemont river, and there are lovely woodland walks to enjoy in a sheltered location all year round.
