The Pukematekeo Summit, 450m high, on the Waitakere Ranges gives a panoramic view of Auckland City and the Waitemata Harbour.

The Waitakere Ranges are a chain of hills generally running approximately 25 km (15.5 mi) from north to south generally 25 km west of central Auckland, New Zealand. The maximum elevation within the range is 474 m (1555 ft).

For more cityscape views take the complete scenic drive along the top of the Waitakere Ranges, and drive up the short side road to Pukematekeo Summit for this stunning view across Auckland City. The Waitemata Harbour Bridge and the Skytower are prominent features in the distance.
