The Teamsters' and Chauffeurs' Union Building is located in the Union Depot-Warehouse Historic District. It was renovated in 2006 and now houses the Gary E. Milgard Family Foundation.

The following information is from a plaque on the building:
This site was the original location of the Northern Pacific Railroad Passenger Terminal (the Villard Depot) from 1883 until 1892. When the depot was relocated near the site of Union Station along Pacific Avenue, the present building was constructed in 1892. The structure contained a variety of uses over the years - Teamsters' Union Hall, a bicycle shop, a gas equipment company, among others. In 2006 the building was renovated and expanded by the Gary E. Milgard Family Foundation.
The structure was a Landmarks Preservation Commission Award Winner in 2006. The BOE Architects designed the edition and renovation. If you look closely on the narrower end of the flatiron shaped structure you can see where the extension was added, however it blends in well and the building retains its historical integrity.
