Along the Great Allegheny Passage, this is a local hang out, and has been for years.

Layton Caves, is a hollow point in the ridge overlooking the wild and scenic Youghiogheny River. The caves has two entrances that passage 100 feet back into the mountain. The heighth of the cave it almost 6' inside, but the opening is less than 4'.

It's a very interesting spot.
