When I was a kid, we used to be able to walk along the arch out to the end, but winter storms have washed away to big arch and all that remains now is a tiny arch. See the gallery for a picture of how it looked in 1978. If you visit this waymark during the months of October through January be sure to visit the Monarch Butterflies. It is a sight not to be missed. At low tide, there are some really nice coastal tide pools to explore.
