manmade waterfall below the twin pagodas

At the summit of Doi Inthanon National Park the Royal Thai Air Force built 2 pagodas to honor the king and queen on their 60th birthdays. The area all around the pagodas is filled with beds of flowers and flowering shrubs. And although it's billed as a scenic overlook site, it's hard to decide which view is better - the distant mountain tops, or the beautiful gardens. On the fill below the king's pagoda is a manmade waterfall with playing elephants artfully tumbiling through the stages. The sound of the falls adds to the peaceful feeling you get at this site.
