This statue is of Thomas Jefferson writing the Declaration of Independence. It is appropriatly located between the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg and The College of William and Mary.

The statue is lifesize and made of bronze. For anyone who wishes to discuss Jefferson's document, there is ample room to sit next to him. Thomas Jefferson is a favorite photo location for those visiting the area.
