This time capsule is located on the grounds of the Grimsby Museum. It was placed by the Grimsby Historical Society on Apil 5th, 1990, to celebrate the First Municipal Meeting in Upper Canada, held on April 5th, 1790 on this site. The container that is buried here was filled by the children of Grimsby, and will be opened on April 5th, 2040.
